Postdoc position at Nantes University on living and ageing with chronic conditions and technological devices
Dear all,
A post-doc vacancy just opened up in the LivACT project on living and ageing with chronic conditions and technological devices. The aim of the postdoc (24 months, renewable) is to analyse how chronic living with Parkinson’s disease is recomposed over time and with the introduction of new technologies. It will also interrogate how the use or non-use of technological devices is linked to people’s aspirations and experiences of autonomy.
We’re looking for candidates with a PhD in relevant fields, such as Science & Technologies Studies, or anthropology, philosophy and sociology with an interest in health, disability and/or technology. The position is based at Nantes University (France). A very good level of French is required as the postdoc will undertake fieldwork (observations and interviews) in French settings.
The announcement (in English) is accessible here. Its French version is enclosed.
The call for applications is open until January 7th, 2025. Applications (CV and motivation letter, in which the candidate will explain how s/he would address the aims of the project) will be sent to: 2025_cf_viet_postdoc@emploi.beetween.com.
Should you have any question or need some precisions, please contact Mathilde Lancelot (Mathilde.Lancelot@univ-nantes.fr) and/or me (lucie.dalibert@univ-lyon1.fr).
Kindest regards,
Lucie Dalibert
