On 22. November 2024, the Swiss Academic Society for Environmental Research
and Ecology (Saguf) will hold its annual meeting titled "Innovation in
Transformation".
The event might be of interest to the STS researchers, especially for those
located in German speaking countries.
This year's Saguf annual conference will focus on the role given to innovation
in transformations to sustainability. Together we want to shed light on the
diverse and sometimes divergent dynamics of innovation and transformation in
discourses and public policy.
With actors from academia, funding organisations, NGO and policy, we will
address following questions: What constitutes "successful" transformative
innovation? And how can the understanding of political decision-makers,
innovators and researchers for transformative innovations be brought together
to tackle urgent global challenges?
Speakers include:

- Fabian Streiff, Innovation Zurich, Economic Promotion of the Kanton

The event is free of charge and will be held in German.
