Understanding Misinformation, Munich 9 December
Dear colleagues,
If you happen to be in Munich on 9 December 2024, you are warmly invited to a workshop that examines the complexities of misinformation within scientific research and its implications for decision-making. Hosted by the Chair of Philosophy and History of Science and Technology at TUM, this event brings together philosophers and social scientists to discuss alternative approaches to understanding and addressing misinformation. The workshop challenges the idea that misinformation can be "fixed" by providing truth alone, encouraging participants to explore innovative solutions.
