<br>we are once again accepting applications for the Master’s program
<br>“Science and Technology Studies. Economies, Governance, Life” at Goethe
<br>University in Frankfurt a. M., Germany, for the winter term 18/19.
<br>Applications are possible until *15 June 2018*.
<br>
<br>The Master’s program “Science and Technology Studies: Economies,
<br>Governance, Life” is an English-language program taught by cultural
<br>anthropologists, human geographers and sociologists. It offers students
<br>three areas of specialization: firstly, global economies, with their
<br>cross-border flows of capital goods and ideas that integrate populations
<br>and spaces into new transnationalframeworks; secondly the emergence of
<br>new forms of governance that increasingly rely on technological
<br>standards, surveillance technologies and data infrastructures, and
<br>thirdly the capacity of biomedicaltechnologies to produce new forms of
<br>life that destabilize the boundaries between nature and culture.
