Making and doing

Science, Tech and STS

For a better world

We want to build on the success of the first-ever creative writing competition held in conjunction with the EASST conference in Madrid in July 2022. For a description and the winning entries see Michela Cozza, Nina Klimburg Witjes and Sally Wyatt First-ever poetry, flash fiction and short story competition, in EASST Review 42(2), 2022.

We are holding a second short story, flash fiction, and poetry competition for conference participants. Winners will be announced during the conference (date and time to be confirmed at a later stage), where they will have the opportunity to read their entry. There will be prizes. Winning entries will be published in the conference issue of the EASST Review later in 2024.

Entrants will receive confirmation of their submission.

The judges read all the entries; their decisions are final.
