EU-funded post-doc position "mission-oriented innovation for sustainable datacenters" at the University of Twente
Dear STS researchers, The postdoc position announced below could be interesting for some of you: I would like to share with you a wonderful funded postdoc opportunity opening up at the University of Twente within the MISD project, which is part of the broader EU-founded IPCEI-CIS ecosystem. The MISD project is organized as a public-private innovation consortium, which aims to create a sustainable, decentralized data center concept that reduces energy consumption and enhances energy flexibility while addressing global dependencies. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of researchers (with Prof. Maaike Endedijk, Dr. Ellen Nathues and myself from the PLT research group and Kornelia Konrad from the KiTeS research group) as well as a project-wide research team consisting of 8 PhD-students and 4 post-docs, coordinated by Suzan Bayhan). Within the consortium you will closely collaborate with several innovators (Martin Vos from Eurofiber and Job Oostveen from TNO), contributing directly to solutions that support climate goals and sustainability transitions. This post-doctoral position offers a unique dual role: * Conducting groundbreaking research into mission-driven innovation (60%). * Actively supporting consortium partners to develop viable, sustainable, and socially desirable innovation pathways (40%). What You'll Do: - Lead stakeholder analyses to identify and align key perspectives. - Design and conduct longitudinal studies to explore the impact of innovations on sustainable transitions. - Engage in scenario development and sociotechnical exploration. - Collaborate with partners and stakeholders in a dynamic field lab environment to co-create actionable strategies. - Share findings with scientific and practitioner audiences through conferences, publications, and workshops. The advert and further details are available here: https://utwentecareers.nl/en/vacancies/1965/post-doc-researcher-mission-orien ted-innovation-for-sustainable-datacenters/ . The deadline for applications is 15 December. Please share this message with good potential candidates, Thanks, and best wishes, Annemarie Dedden _______________________________________________ EASST's Eurograd mailing list Eurograd (at) lists.easst.net Unsubscribe or edit subscription options: http://lists.easst.net/listinfo.cgi/eurograd-easst.net Meet us via https://twitter.com/STSeasst Report abuses of this list to Eurograd-owner@lists.easst.netview formatted text
