symposium Planetary Experiments: Environments by Design
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing team, I am delighted to invite you to the annual symposium of the German Society for Design Theory and Research (DGTF). This year, in collaboration with the Chair of Digital Cultures at TU Dresden, we will critically engage with the theme: Planetary Experiments: Environments by Design
This symposium brings together diverse perspectives and practices in design research and theory to address the pressing ecological, social, and technological challenges of our time. Planetary Experiments aims to map the complexities of large-scale design interventions and critically examine the ethical, social, and ecological stakes of reimagining the planet as both a site of experimentation and a design.
đź“… Date: June 13, 2025 đź“Ť Location: TU Dresden (with online participation available)
For more details on the program and registration, please visit the conference website: https://planetary-experiments.dgtf.de/
We would be honored to have you join the conversation!
Kind regards, Michaela BĂĽsse
