Dear all,
our team is hiring! We at Technische Universitt Berlin - Faculty VI -
Institute of Sociology / Sociology of Politics and Governance are
looking for a Research Assistant (0.5 working time).
The project "Schmeck! Practices and aesthetics of eating in the quest for
sustainable foodways" offers a second position as research associate
in a 50% part-time arrangement. The project is a pilot project in
qualitative-sensory "citizen science".
Working field:
Coordination of the research process in an extended project
team with 20 amateur researchers and scientific and artistic partners
Concept, training and coordination of sensory-ethnografic
research and taste experiments
Contribution to the articulation of project results, e.g. in
form of a "slightly different cookbook" and a reflection on the
transdisciplinary research process
Requirements:
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or
equivalent) in sociology, anthropology, cultural studies or
comparable disciplines
Experience in leading and moderating collaborative
processes in heterogeneous teams
Given expertise or capability to work up the state of debate in
methods of sensory ethnography, aesthetic experiments and
transdisciplinary research
Good English language skills are desired
