Together with Nina Frahm, I'm seeking a new colleague to join our project Imaginaries of Existential Risks: Making, Governing, and Contesting Humanity’s Future. The position is for two years (with the possibility of extension) and will involve exciting fieldwork on knowledge production within academic existential risks communities in both the US and the EU. The postdoc will also include a research stay with one of our partner institutions and close collaboration with our great team at the Department of Digital Design and Information Studies at Aarhus University.
We are particularly interested in applicants with a background in STS, sociology, or philosophy of science. Prior work on—or a strong interest in—AI futures, AI risks, and AI ethics will be a distinct advantage. Further details about the position can be found here
