Dear all,
The Joint Research Centre of the European Commission is looking for a new
colleague with a background in behavioural economics, cognitive sciences,
sociology, behavioural sciences or socio-economics and knowledge of energy,
resources and sustainability. The successful candidate will:
Be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on the social dimension
of the energy transition necessary for meeting the long-term EU climate and
energy vision for climate neutrality in a fair and just way
Apply concepts of behavioural economics and cognitive science in the
energy and climate domain; from household energy decisions to policies for
climate neutrality
Assess consumer behaviour related to social and technological
innovations in the energy field (e.g. smart meters and appliances, electric
and autonomous vehicles, energy communities, social incentives, acceptance of
low carbon tech & innovations)
