CfP: "Beyond Infrastructure? (Un-)built Environments in the Anthropocene" International Conference (University of Vienna, September 22-24, 2025)

                Dear all,



The Call for Papers
  for the international conference Beyond
Infrastructure? (Un-)built Environments in the Anthropocene is open for
submissions until April 6, 2025.



Organized by the ERC Advanced Grant project Building Arctic Futures:
Transport Infrastructures and Sustainable Northern Communities (InfraNorth)
at the University of Vienna (September 2224, 2025), the conference will
engage a range of issues stemming from human and more-than-human
interactions with built, unbuilt, and not-yet-built environments, infusing
infrastructure studies with environmental perspectives. We welcome proposals
from across the social sciences, arts and humanities, natural sciences, and
engineering, and encourage submissions that engage with any region of the
worldand beyond.



To submit your proposal, please provide the following:

1.	An abstract of up to 250 words,
2.	Five keywords characterizing your research,
3.	A short bio of 50-70 words.

Please send everything as a single PDF document no later than April 6 to
beyondinfrastructure.ksa@univie.ac.at
 . Acceptance notifications
will be sent in early May, with registration starting shortly thereafter.
