Brand new MSc programme in Sustainability and Society at UEA
With apologies for cross-posting
Dear Colleagues,
We are very pleased to announce the launch of a brand-new MSc programme in Sustainability and Society in the School of Environmental Sciences at UEA, starting this September.
The new programme will be run by the Science, Society and Sustainability (3S) Research Group and will link closely with our ongoing research on societal engagement with sustainability. The programme will introduce students to cutting-edge research from across science and technology studies (STS), human geography and sociology. Students will have the chance to specialise in a huge range of sustainability challenges, such as energy, climate change, AI and emerging technologies, biodiversity and conservation, water, food and much more. The programme will also involve close collaboration with non-academic partner organisations, encouraging students to apply new ideas and methods to real-world sustainability issues.
The programme is now open to applicants so if you are aware of anyone that might be interested in applying please do share these details. For further information on how to apply please see the attached flyer or visit: https://www.uea.ac.uk/course/postgraduate/msc-sustainability-and-society
Thanks, Tom Hargreaves, Jason Chilvers, Martin Mahony and Helen Pallett (on behalf of the 3S group)
