<br>Edinburgh Medical School has another round of tenure-track Chancellors
<br>Fellowships available. As in previous years, scholars from social science and
<br>bioethics are eligible for these prestigious, research-orientated positions
<br>(and have previously been successful). Applications will likely come from
<br>people at assistant professor level, though applications from associate or
<br>full professors will also be considered. The theme for the current round of
<br>Chancellors Fellowships is data-driven innovation. Please see the following

<br>Among the list of possible areas of research focus is: Social, Ethical and
<br>Legal issues for Data Science Governance. Any successful applicant to that
<br>stream will be based in the Usher Institute of Population Health Sciences &
<br>Informatics. This contains a vibrant community of social science and medical
<br>humanities scholars, including the developing Centre for Biomedicine, Self &
<br>Society (supported by the University of Edinburgh and the Wellcome Trust).
