Tenure-track positions at Edinburgh Medical School (inc. in Social, Ethical & Legal issues for Data Sci Governance)

Dear colleagues,

Edinburgh Medical School has another round of tenure-track Chancellors
Fellowships available. As in previous years, scholars from social science and
bioethics are eligible for these prestigious, research-orientated positions
(and have previously been successful). Applications will likely come from
people at assistant professor level, though applications from associate or
full professors will also be considered. The theme for the current round of
Chancellors Fellowships is data-driven innovation. Please see the following
link, and then click apply for more details:

Among the list of possible areas of research focus is: Social, Ethical and
Legal issues for Data Science Governance. Any successful applicant to that
stream will be based in the Usher Institute of Population Health Sciences &
Informatics. This contains a vibrant community of social science and medical
humanities scholars, including the developing Centre for Biomedicine, Self &
Society (supported by the University of Edinburgh and the Wellcome Trust).

Best wishes

Martyn
