Liebe Kolleginnen, liebe Freundinnen des Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden,
wir möchten Sie auf die erste interdisziplinäre Tagung des Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden aufmerksam machen, welche vom 1.-3. Dezember 2021 stattfinden wird. Die Tagung widmet sich dem Thema: “Künstliche Intelligenz als geistes- und sozialwissenschaftlicher Begriff”. Detaillierte Informationen können Sie dem angehängten Call for Abstracts entnehmen. Einsendefrist für Einreichungen ist der 30. April 2021.
Das Schaufler Kolleg@TU Dresden ist Bestandteil des Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden, zu dem ebenso die Schaufler Residency@TU Dresden zählt. In der ersten Förderphase des Lab widmen sich Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen in ihren Promotionsprojekten Künstlicher Intelligenz als Faktor wie Folge gesellschaftlichen und kulturellen Wandels, während das Artist in Residence-Programm im jährlichen Takt internationalen Künstlerinnen die Möglichkeit bietet, für sechs Monate in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Kollegiat*innen und Forschenden weiterer Einrichtungen der TU Dresden das Thema künstlerisch zu verhandeln.

we would like to inform you about the first interdisciplinary conference organized by Schaufler Kolleg@TU Dresden which will take place on December 1-3, 2021. The conference will address artificial intelligence as a concept in the humanities and social sciences. Please find detailed information in the attached call for abstracts. The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2021.
Schaufler Kolleg@TU Dresden is a graduate school and part of Schaufler Lab@TU Dresden, which also includes Schaufler Residency@TU Dresden, an artist-in-residence program. In the first funding phase of the Lab, graduate students from the humanities dedicate their doctoral projects to artificial intelligence as a factor and consequence of social and cultural change, while the artist-in-residence program offers international artists the opportunity to work on the topic for six months in close cooperation with the graduate school and other departments at TU Dresden.
