CfP 12th MAYS EASA, Warsaw 2021: Medical anthropology for all? Changing anthropology in a pandemic world

Dear colleagues,

This email is to remind you about our open call for papers for its 2021 12th Annual MAYS Meeting "Medical anthropology for all? Changing anthropology in a pandemic world". This year the event will take place in Warsaw in a hybrid form, pandemic permitting.

As COVID-19 dominates academic research and funding, challenging our work, we invite student and early-career researchers from across the social sciences to join us in a discussion on the effects and affects of the pandemic within fieldworks and disciplines.

We invite three types of submissions: reflexive pieces, ethnographic papers, and theory-oriented pieces. Abstracts should be 350-500 words. If accepted, conference papers should be up to 3000 words.

The deadline for abstracts is* 31.03 midnight. *Submit your abstract here .

All the details on the event and the application process are included in the file attached, or can be found here: https://mayseasa.org/.../18/12th-mays-meeting-cfp-now-open/

Best wishes,

Magdalena and Anthony
