This is to let you know that a four-year studentship to undertake a PhD in “Medical humanities” to be supervised jointly between STIS, University of Edinburgh and the Life Sciences & Society Lab at KU Leuven has now been advertised – see http://www.sps.ed.ac.uk/gradschool/prospective/funding/university_of_edinburgh_ku_leuven_phd_studentship.
Applicants have a choice of two projects to apply for: Project 1: Rare disease patient organisations, biobanks, and biomedical innovation. Supervisors: Steve Sturdy (UoE), Ine Van Hoyweghen (KUL) Project 2: Making Europe through personalised medicine healthcare. Supervisors: James Mittra (UoE), Ine Van Hoyweghen (KUL)
