The research project "Science and religion in northern Europe" will host the
international colloquium on
Revisiting the Science-Religion Interface: Glocal, Bottom-Up,
Multi-Disciplinary
on April 9-10. You are warmly welcome to join the discussion on the new
interface of science and religion!
The interface between science and religion is being probed and pushed in new
ways in our time of globalization. New knowledge is being produced about how
people manage and negotiate the boundaries between instrumental rationality
and religiosity in their daily lives, about how global trends intersect with
local realities, and how people themselves see these negotiations. The
colloquium will include presentations on cutting-edge research in the field by
a number of internationally renowned academics, including from Finland.
