Dear colleagues,
This is a call for papers
for our interdisciplinary workshop titled “Immunity and Resistance:
(re)valuing vaccines and antibiotics in the shifting terrains of global
health”.
Our workshop seeks to bring together researchers working on *vaccines
and/or antimicrobial resistance* from across the social sciences,
humanities, and critical public health—including anthropology, sociology,
history of science and medicine, science and technology studies (STS),
political science, and global health studies. Our aim is to reflect on the
past and future value of vaccines and antibiotics and the individual,
societal, and economic pressures associated with them.

*How to apply:* Please submit your abstract (max 300 words) to
immunity-resistance.politikwissenschaft@univie.ac.at. Apologies for the
