The research group "Ethics of Artificial Intelligence" (Prof. Rainer
Mühlhoff) at University of Osnabrück is hiring a Research Assistant
(m/f/d), TV-L E13, 50–75%, Pre- or Postdoc for a duration of approx. 9
months (until 30 June 2023).
We are looking for a person to specialize in the topics of data ethics
and applied ethics in the context of location information (e.g. GPS
data). The position is situated within the ongoing research project
“SIMPORT”, funded by the BMBF (German Federal Ministry of Research and
education).
The Ethics of AI group is a vibrant team of about 14 young researchers
and students at the interdisciplinary Institute of Cognitive Science at
UOS. Our mission is contemporary critical philosophy of the digital
world. Our research covers the ethics of AI, data protection and Big
Data, power and subjectivity in the digital age.

Project language is English.
The position is flexible within negotiable boundaries with regard to
the working location.
The position can be filled with both pre- and postdoc candidates.
