<br>On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to join
<br>us *next Tuesday September 8, 3-6 pm CEST* for the second edition
<br>
<br>of the webinar “*Doing science in times of crisis: Science studies
<br>perspectives on COVID-19*” organized by CWTS, Leiden University and TIB
<br>Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology. An earlier edition
<br>
<br>of the webinar was organized last May and was attended by almost 200
<br>participants.
<br>
<br>The purpose of the webinar is to showcase, discuss and connect science
<br>studies research on the COVID-19 pandemic. Topics include *mapping
<br>COVID-19-related research, social media and altmetrics, scholarly
<br>communication, and research infrastructures*. A rich group of speakers from
<br>the science studies community and beyond will share the findings of a
<br>number of recent research projects.
