PhD call for PhD position
COME TO JOIN MÄLARDALEN UNIVERSITY ! <br> <br>The School of Business, Society and Engineering is looking for PhD candidates in Industrial Economics and Organisation. <br>This position is for a Ph.D. student focusing on digitalization and its consequences for organization and management, specifically for daily work practice. Within such a framework, the Ph.D. student and supervisors will discuss possible interesting area of research. Therefore the Ph.D. student: <br> <br> * is expected to work with literature review of research concerning the relationships between technology and society <br> * will conduct empirical research using qualitative methods and is expected to be comfortable with spending time at the studied organization(s) to collect empirical material <br> * is expected to collaborate with other research projects on digitalization, at Mälardalen University (information about them can be found on the website, under research specialization industrial economics and organization and mainly within the New Management Practices group) as well as with other Swedish and foreign universities. <br>In addition, the doctoral student is expected to have good written and oral knowledge in English. Knowledge of the Swedish language is not a requirement. <br>For the position, several different backgrounds can fit, e.g., a major in business administration, engineering, system science, science and technology studies.
