Today is the "Our People-Centered Digital Future," a nonprofit and
<br>non-partisan event sponsored by Constellation Research
<br>.

<br>By March 2019, 50% of the world will be connected to the Internet, an
<br>inflection point that marks an important moment for examining the
<br>“unfinished work” of the Internet and discussing the community norms,
<br>human
<br>rights, and social contracts required in the digital age.
<br>
<br>The event recognizes both the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration
<br>of Human Rights
<br>
<br>(UDHR)
<br>and the 50th anniversary of the "Mother of All Demos
<br>."
<br>
<br>The event is well underway: Internet co-inventor Vint Cerf and Web inventor
<br>Sir Tim Berners-Lee have already delivered their introductory remarks. If
