1findr: comparative analysis of coverage

                Hi everyone,

<br>Last week, the 1findr platform (www.1findr.com) for research discovery and
<br>analytics was launched in its free version. This week on the blog, I've done a
<br>comparative analysis to assess the coverage of 1findr against that of
<br>Dimensions by Digital Science. These two platforms represent a new approach to
<br>collecting and collating bibliographic data. Stacked up against each other,
<br>the major difference seems to be in the volume of open access material, but
<br>there are also interesting findings about document types and coverage over
<br>time-we're talking centuries, not just years or decades.
<br>
