CFP: The Israel Society for History and Philosophy of Science 18th annual conference
The Israel Society for History and Philosophy of Science is pleased to <br>announce Its 18th annual conference, which will take place on Sunday, <br>June 10, 2018, at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute. <br> <br>The aim of the conference Is to bring together under one roof researchers <br>from the great variety of disciplines that have turned their attention to <br>the study of science, medicine, and technology: history, philosophy, <br>sociology, anthropology. psychology, political science, economics, <br>geography, literature, education, medicine, natural and life sciences, <br>and more. <br> <br>We invite proposals for individual lectures (20 minutes in length) and <br>for full sessions (90 minutes in length, comprising three or four <br>lectures). Every proposal for a reflective investigation of any aspect of <br>science, medicine, or technology, past or present, will be considered. We <br>are especially interested in receiving proposals concerning science, <br>medicine, and technology in Israel. <br> <br>Submission guidelines: For individual lectures, please submit a 250-400 <br>word abstract describing briefly the subject of your research, your <br>methods, and your principal findings. For session proposals, please <br>submit (1) a 250-400 description of the panel, (2) the names, <br>Institutional affiliations, and contact information for each of the <br>proposed presenters, and (3) a 250-400 word abstract for each lecture in <br>the session, as described above. <br> <br>Proposals should be submitted as a Word or Open Office document and sent <br>as an email attachment to isrhps@gmail.com.
