Call for nominations for the 2026 EASST Awards

Dear all,

We are delighted to invite nominations for the EASST awards, to celebrate collaboration and cooperation in our field, which will be awarded at the EASST 2026 Conference.The EASST Council hopes to receive many good nominations and asks all members to consider possible candidates for these awards.

Deadline: 31 December 2025.

The following three prizes will be awarded:

  • The Zimanaward will be made for a significant innovative collaborative activity to promote public interaction with science and technology where current impact / influence can be demonstrated.
  • The Amsterdamskaaward will be made for a significant creative collaboration in an edited book or special issue in the broad field of science and technology studies.The nominated contributions must have been published in 2024 or later.
  • The Freemanaward will be made for a publication which is a significant collective contribution to the interaction of science and technology studies with another discipline or area of study published.The nominated contributions must have been published in 2024 or later.

We encourage the community to submit nominations earlyto support the evaluation subcommittees in their review process.
