Faculty position at Universidad Católica de Chile – Social Sciences Applied to Key Challenges of the 21st century
Dear all, The College program at Universidad Católica de Chile invites applications for a full time academic position at the level of assistant or, exceptionally, associate professor. The selected candidate is expected to develop high-quality undergraduate and graduate teaching, and to lead autonomous and collaborative research from a social science perspective focusing on some of the key issues world societies face in the 21st century, especially in Latin America. Preferred areas of specialization include:
- Territoriality, decentralization and new ruralities
- Globalization, migration and transnationality
- New modes of citizen engagement and social integration.
Although this is an open call, applications from people who approach these topics from an STS perspective are very welcome. You can find detailed information in the attached document. I would appreciate it if you could distribute the call among your networks! If you have questions about the position please write to me as I am in the selection committee. Best regards, Sebastian Ureta.
