<br>Three job opportunities to research existential risk at the University of
<br>Cambridge are currently being advertised. The successful candidates will work
<br>on some of the most important topics in the world today, produce
<br>ground-breaking and fascinating research, be part of a supportive and
<br>collaborative team, and will achieve real impact with their work.

<br>These positions have funding available for three years (until 30 November
<br>2022) in the first instance.

<br>CSER is an interdisciplinary research centre within the University of
<br>Cambridge dedicated to the study and mitigation of risks that could lead to
<br>human extinction or civilisational collapse.

<br>Research Associate/Senior Research Associate in Public Policy for Global Risk
<br>Explore how best to engage with policy-makers, and turn research into policy.
<br>We are seeking a candidate who is able to draw on the developing science of
<br>global risk and collaborate with stakeholders to develop practical solutions,
<br>concrete proposals and actionable recommendations for policy-makers.

<br>Research Associate/Senior Research Associate In Communication and Outreach for
<br>a Science of Global Risk
<br>We are seeking a candidate who can help us develop methods and communicate
<br>insights to a diverse set of global stakeholders across academia, industry,
<br>government and civil society to improve their ability to envision and
<br>understand their relationship to global risk and its management.

<br>Research Assistant: A Science of Global Risk
<br>Part-time Research Assistant (0.5FTE) to support the work of the Project
<br>Director, Professor Lord Martin Rees and CSER colleagues.
