Dear colleagues,
We have a fully funded three year PhD position available in Northumbria
University as part of Northumbria Social Computing (NorSC) working with
myself and Shaun Lawson. Application deadline is January 29th, 2021, and
candidates are expected to start in October 2021.
We are looking for someone with interests in more-than-human
design/engineering who will cast a critical eye towards technologies used
to complement the human-companion animal bond. Disciplinary background can
be diverse: human/animal-computer interaction, computer science,
information systems, sociology, psychology, anthropology, animal studies,
and so on.
