Visiting researcher grants at NTNU, Centre for technology and society

Visiting researcher grants, Centre for Technology and Society,
Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)

We offer visiting researcher grants for stays at the Centre for
Technology and Society (CTS) for 1-6 months for the academic years
2019-2020 and 2020-2021. The grant covers settling-in costs in Norway
and associated extra costs (NOK 30 000) incurred in connection with the
research visit, like housing, but not wages. Travel costs may also be

Scholars employed at non-Norwegian universities may apply. Successful
applicants plan to work with areas of interest of CTS, preferably
collaborating with CTS faculty. CTS research focus on science and
technology studies (STS). Main areas of CTS research at present are
sustainable energy and climate, gender, science and technology, digital
technologies, responsible research and innovation (RRI), sustainable
buildings and cities, food, biotechnology and biodiversity. More

Application deadline for the first round of visiting researcher grants
is August 15, 2019. First possible date for visit is October 1, 2019.
The application should include cover letter, CV with a list of
publications and a 2-3 pages outline of research planned undertaken
