Job: Postdoc in Data Valuation (deadline Thursday!)

                Apologies for cross-posting

Please forward to anyone you think might be interested.

I'm recruiting a postdoc in data value/valuation to work with me and my
collaborators (from Lancaster University, Melbourne University, McMaster
University & Centre for International Governance Innovation) on a SSHRC-funded
project titled Digital Data Value Paradox: An Empirical Investigation of
Personal Data Valuation.

The research builds on my existing research, including my new book "Data
Enclaves".

The project will investigate three empirical examples of digital personal data
valuation represented by international standard-setters, law courts, and
digital technology businesses in order to develop a common definition and
conception of personal data value and valuation that policymakers and others
can use to pursue policies, regulations, and standards that promote the social
value of personal data.

Based at York University, Canada. Deadline: 30 November 2023.

Job details here:

For informal inquiries, please email me.

Thanks,
Kean
