job offer, research associate (65%, doctoral candidate), in a project "Doing mini-publics: translocalization of politics" (STS, practice research, multi-sited/mobile ethnography)

We announce the position of one of two research associates in the project
"Doing mini-publics: translocalization of politics". It is a part-time
position, allowing parallel work for a doctorate.

The project is part of a collaborative research centre on the "Re-figuration
of spaces". It investigates the production and circulation of knowledge about
politics, focusing on a specific method of public participation: "deliberative
mini-publics". Does the worldwide circulation of this knowledge go along with
the constitution of a trans-local space of political practice? How is this
space being shaped?

We look forward to receive applications, especially from STS and practice
researchers who enjoy travelling and have some experience in fieldwork. Please
forward to potentially interested people.

Applications can be handed in until 23 November 2018.
