Sabine is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Sociology Graduate School “Innovation Society Today”, TU Berlin, and a member of the Laboratory: Anthropology of Environment | Human Relations. Her research interests comprise Social Anthropology of Science and Technology, Medical Anthropology, Human-Environment Relations, Multispecies Ethnography and Posthumanism.
Her current research deals with the question of how the human microbiome is enacted in everyday practices and how scientific and lay communities work with it and intervene in it, focusing on human-bacterial collaborations towards health and wellbeing.
