Alison Marlin

Alison Marlin is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne, where she studies family intimacies that incorporate technologies such as Skype, Facebook and text messaging, as multiple and material-semiotic. She has been a research intern at the Socio-Digital Systems group, Microsoft Research, Cambridge, and a visiting scholar at the Technology in Practice group, IT University of Copenhagen.
