Constantinos Morfakis is Onassis postdoctoral fellow at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, School of Science, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research focuses on the public image of biosciences and biotechnology in Greece. He is tutor in Science, Technology, Society (STS) E-Learning Program of the Center for Continuing Education and Training of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Important Discoveries and Global Perspectives (Chapter 18), Springer Heidelberg, German, 2017, pp 285-315.|Katerina Vlantoni is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and at the National Technical University of Athens (in EU HORIZON 2020 InsSciDE – Inventing a shared Science Diplomacy for Europe project). Her research focuses on the study of biomedical and technological risks, and of the development and use of new biomedical technologies. Currently, she is adjunct faculty at the Master’s Program in “Science, Technology, Society—Science and Technology Studies”, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of West Attica, and at the Hellenic Open University.
