Vidya Subramanian has submitted her PhD thesis to the Centre for Studies in Science Policy (CSSP) at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in New Delhi, India. Her doctoral work focuses on the relationship between Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and television on the sport of cricket—specifically the Indian Premier League (IPL), the construction of the spectator, and the transformation of cricket into a platform.
