Dear colleagues,
At Tema T Technology and Social Change, Linkping University, Sweden we are hiring a PhD student (full-time employment, 4 years) on the topic:

The PhD student will participate in the interdisciplinary competence centre Biogas Solutions Research Centre at Linkping University and is supposed to work with concepts of institutional analysis, agency and institutional change in establishing biogas as a sustainable fuel in Sweden. There will be great flexibility in choosing theoretical approaches and cases, which can range from institutionalization processes of new biogas technologies such as liquified biogas in production and use to attempts and strategies to achieve changes in policies/law/narratives or imaginaries at the national level, or exporting the Swedish Biogas Model to other countries. International case comparisons are also welcome.
We are interested in students with a background in sociology, STS, political science, human geography, innovation studies, urban and regional planning, environmental science and related social science or interdisciplinary educations. Swedish language skills are not required.
Deadline for the application is 15 September 2022. More information and an application form can be found at: https://liu.se/en/work-at-liu/vacancies?rmpage=job&rmjob=19539&rmlang=UK

Harald
