Job adds for a Research Fellow, PhD Scholarship and Research Associate at WSU Node of the CoESB

                Greetings to them Eurograd email list,

I am writing about the following three research positions, which have
just been advertised, and may be of interest to you and/or your network.
They are all in the humanities and/or social sciences, about risk and
ethics in the use of synthetic biology to address the climate and
ecological crisis. All are ARC Centre of Excellence in Synthetic Biology
positions, based at the Institute for Culture and Society at Western
Sydney University, and all are open to international applicants.

*Position #1: Research Fellow *
The Research Fellow will conduct and manage primary research on ethical
issues and values, and cultural shifts with respect to synthetic
biology, with a particular focus on biodiversity conservation and/or
climate change mitigation.

*Position #2: PhD Scholarship on ‘Risk and Ethics in the use of
Synthetic Biology to Address the Climate and Ecological Crisis’
*Undertaking qualitative research on the ethical, social and/or cultural
dimensions of technoscientific responses to the ecological crisis and
the climate crisis, with a particular focus on synthetic biology for
biodiversity conservation, and/or climate change mitigation.

*Position #3: Research Assistant/Associate *
Principal duties are to conduct literature reviews, contribute to
drafting articles and other material for publication, and
