Department
The Department of Human Geography at the University of Frankfurt is a dynamic
and rapidly growing department with an international reputation. It is the
largest of its kind in Germany and offers a vibrant, stimulating environment
for cutting-edge research. Beyond human geography, we are committed to
interdisciplinary work across the
social sciences. Moreover, we work on a beautiful campus in the middle of one
of Europe's major financial and traffic hubs. However, Frankfurt feels more
like a cosmopolitan village, compact enough to navigate on a bicycle and
global enough to host the world's largest internet backbone.
