With regards, Agata <br>Willems---------------------------------------------------------------------- <br>----Mellon <br>Job adBard College Berlin, a Liberal Arts university, invites applications <br>for a “Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in” (Lecturer) position in Middle <br>Eastern Studies. The disciplinary field is open, and early career scholars <br>from Politics, History, Law, Sociology, Anthropology, Literature, Cultural <br>Studies, Media Studies and related fields are invited to apply. Applicants <br>should have a research and teaching interest in migration, refugee studies <br>and/or exchanges between the Middle East and Europe. The teaching load will <br>be 9 LVS or five seminar courses annually, with at least one course in Bard <br>College Berlin’s core curriculum. A course release may be possible to <br>account for administrative responsibilities relating to a migration studies <br>program for study abroad students. The initial contract will be for two <br>years, with the possibility of extension pending review. Annual <br>compensation will be in the low EUR 40,000 range. The ideal applicant would <br>be able to begin teaching in late January 2019.
