Tim Schütz

Tim Schütz earned his BA degree in Media, Communication and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Bremen, Germany. He is currently a candidate for the MA program in Science and Technology Studies (STS) at Goethe University Frankfurt. During 2018-19, he is also Fulbright fellow in Medicine, Science and Technology Studies (MSTS) at the University of California, Irvine. His recent work includes an ethnographic field study on free wireless network activism in German refugee shelters, which was awarded the 2017 DARIAH-DE DH Award for emerging scholars in the digital humanities.
