Sophie Toupin is a PhD candidate in the Department of Art History and Communication Studies at McGill University. She is a Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Scholarship award recipient (2016-2019). Her current Ph.D. research examines the relationship between communication technologies and revolutionary movements in the context of liberation struggles.
