I am a doctoral candidate at the Department of Science, Technology and Society, Technical University of Munich. My doctorate comprises extensive empirical research into how visions and applications of ‘regenerative biomedicine,’ the clinical translation of stem cell research, obtain credibility in different political cultures. I focus on public knowledge controversies, episodes of credibility damage and the practical management of their aftermath. My interests include, the relation between research laboratory and public order; the material politics of research misconduct investigation; and the dynamics of science-in-society communication.
