[Meta] List policy

Dear EASST community, dear list subscribers,

the EASST council has yesterday agreed on a new policy for the list, re-emphasising that the list serves the community of scholars of all levels in the broad field of Science and Technology Studies to announce scholarly events, calls, job openings and the like.

Specifying this policy, EASST council asks subscribers to refrain from advertising subscribers' own new publications.

As before, the list does not accept racist, sexist or other discriminating posts. Beyond this, the Council makes now clear that the list should not serve for commercial advertisements.

Please find the policy at http://lists.easst.net/listinfo.cgi/eurograd-easst.net

If you like to raise discussion points on that, please do send these to eurograd_admin@easst.net.

With best wishes, your friendly Eurograd Admin and Moderator, Ingmar Lippert
