PhD studentship at UEA on Integrated Assessment Modelling
A PhD studentship co-funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and the Natural Environment Research Council is available at UEA for a project entitled ‘A history of the future: integrated assessment models and the evolution of climate change science and policy’. This is an interdisciplinary studentship which would be appropriate for someone with a background in STS or history of science, so please do pass it on to potentially interested students.
The project aims to develop an historical account of the emergence, development and co-evolution of the major IAMs, as well as to experiment in making that historical knowledge ‘usable’ for practitioners at the science-policy interface. For a full project description, please click the link above.
Interested applicants are invited to contact me at email@example.com to discuss the project and the application process.
