The Section on Sociology of Professions and Professional Groups of the
International Sociological Association is having its interim meeting this
July 4-6 in Florence, IT. The Call for Papers has been extended until April
12. Please see below for logistics details and submission instructions.
There are several small travel grants available for current graduate
students and anyone who has defended their PhD since 2016; these will be
awarded on a competitive basis. (n.b. If you decide to apply for the travel
grant, please include a paragraph below your abstract, or attach an
additional document, explaining how receiving the grant to participate in
the conference would contribute to your professional development.)
