GSI Post-Doctoral Research Fellow opportunity: Energy-SHIFTS (deadline 19 Mar)

apologies for cross posting

The Global Sustainability
Institute (Anglia
Ruskin University, Cambridge) is looking to recruit a Post-Doctoral Research
Fellow (available from 6 months full-time to 12 months part-time), primarily
to support the EU H2020
Energy-SHIFTS (Energy Social sciences & Humanities Innovation Forum Targeting
the SET-Plan) project, but also with the possibility of continuing to develop
their own existing portfolio of work within our collaborative and
interdisciplinary institute.

Over the past seven years, the GSI has built a global reputation for
delivering research impact and high-quality publications across a broad range
of sustainability issues. We have led and supported several high-profile EU
projects including SHAPE ENERGY, MEDEAS, RRING, and
Energy in Water, which collectively aim to reshape national and international
energy policy. Energy-SHIFTS' core goal is to bring stakeholders and experts
together to better utilise the energy-related Social Sciences and Humanities
(energy-SSH) for the realisation of EU SET-Plan and Energy Union priorities.
In delivering on this, the project will work closely with the European
Commission's DG for Research & Innovation, as well as other key SET-Plan
policy stakeholders.

The Research Fellow will be responsible for supporting the scoping work
package of the project, including a report regarding the role of evidence in
policy(making) and an associated workshop (Brussels, June 2019). They will
have a track record initiating or contributing to collaborative projects, with
the ability to critically engage with diverse energy-SSH literatures.

Whilst advertised as full-time, this position is flexible: it can be
undertaken e.g. at 0.8FTE full-time over 7.5 months, or could be taken down to
0.5FTE part-time over 12 months.

Closing date 19 March 2019. Interviews Tuesday 26 March 2019 (in Cambridge).
The position is ideally expected to start in early to mid-May (with a
possibility of attending a consortium meeting over 24/25 April if convenient).
Informal enquiries before application are welcomed/encouraged via
chris.foulds@anglia.ac.uk and
rosie.robison@anglia.ac.uk.

Full details are available
