CfP Doctoral Consortium ICTDx 4-7Jan Ahmedabad, India

We invite you to apply to participate in our very first ICTD Doctoral
Consortium (DC). The DC's goal is to connect doctoral students to each
other and experts in their research areas, as well as provide opportunities
for learning about relevant emerging theoretical trends, methodologies, and
tools in the field of ICTD. Participants will present their research before
fellow doctoral students and experts, with the hope that this will support
exchange of ideas, solicit constructive feedback from experts, develop
mentor relationships, and expand collaborative research networks. The DC is
an excellent opportunity for young ICTD scholars to learn about the richly
diverse ICTD community as they develop their dissertation research
trajectories.

GUIDELINES

We will give preference to applications of students who are in the earlier
stages of their Ph.D. To shortlist, we will consider the overall quality of
the application, the area of research, the location, and diversity status
of the applicant. We will target an attendance of roughly 25 participants.
These participants will have their conference registration fees waived, and
will also be eligible for travel and accommodation support.

At the DC, participants will be expected to prepare a poster and an oral
presentation. Both will be shared with the conference participants, and the
DC will run for 4 to 6 hours. More details TBA closer to the date.
