Maps of science

Hello everyone,

Over the course of 2018, Science-Metrix will be publishing a series of maps to
visually illustrate some dynamics of the global science ecosystem. This week's
blog post explains why we think these maps are important and what exactly they
represent.

The post (including the first map) can be found here:
http://www.sciencemetrics.org/mapping-science/
The rest of the maps will be released throughout the year on the
Science-Metrix Twitter feed: https://twitter.com/ScienceMetrix

Happy mapping!

Brooke
