Kind reminder - Special Issue Launch: Men, Masculinities, and Reproduction

                Dear colleagues,

A kind reminder about the special issue launch event next Thursday.

All the best,

Sebastian

Special Issue Launch "Men, Masculinities, and Reproduction" - NORMA:
International Journal for Masculinity Studies

19th of November 2020, 5:15-6:00 PM (Central European Time -
Berlin/Copenhagen)

In November, NORMA will publish a special issue on "Men, Masculinities, and
Reproduction". The special issue offers eight articles and a comprehensive
introduction to state of the art theoretical and empirical explorations of
men, masculinities, and reproduction within the transdisciplinary field of
masculinity studies. The scholarship presented in the special issue covers
various social and cultural contexts and reflects contemporary as well as
historical engagements with the question of what defines the relationship
between men, masculinities, and reproduction.

The online-launch event will take place on November 19th 2020 from 5:15 to 6
pm Central European Time. The editors of the special issue, Sebastian Mohr and
Rene Almeling, will introduce the theme of the special issue and three authors
will present insights from their articles. Finally, Marcia Inhorn will offer a
reflection on the special issue's different articles before there will be time
to discuss men, masculinities, and reproduction together with all
participants.

Participation in the event is free of charge and you can register for the
event by sending an e-mail to NORMA's secretary Luca Tainio:
luca.tainio@kau.se Once you are registered, a link
to the event will be made available to you prior to the launch. You can access
the special issue on NORMA's homepage:

While most people address me with the pronouns he/him/his, I am thankful for
communication that goes beyond a gender binary.

I will do my best to meet accomodation needs in communication and personal
meetings, so please approach me directly in regard to accessibility.
